AURORA DUCKS SWIMMING CLUB INC. provides a multi-level program designed to develop interest and participation in competitive swimming. Swimmers are provided with a program to match their abilities and ambitions. Physical development, proper conditioning and good health habits are encouraged. Swimmers also learn team aspects of co-operation, responsibility and leadership, as well as individual dedication, confidence and self-esteem. An atmosphere is created in which the desire for self-improvement and goal achievement motivates the individual to develop their natural abilities and to help others do likewise.
AURORA DUCKS SWIMMING CLUB INC. is an incorporated not for profit club, run by experienced swim coaches. The Board of Directors and membership are made up of coaches with a minimum of 15 years experience.

Aurora Community Tennis Club (ACTC) is an outdoor summer facility hat's been providing a range of programs to promote tennis for all levels of skill in our community since 1937. The Aurora Diggers Girls Softball is an incorporated not for profit volunteer association, which has been facilitating "Rep" teams for the female softball players of Aurora since 1972. Our mission is to provide a competitive, affordable, enjoyable and safe softball program for the girls in our community
Aurora Family Martial Arts believes that all people have the right to be successful but that can only happen when they feel safe, healthy and confident. We help them achieve that by teaching them the skills that they need to defend themselves, learning how to lead a healthy lifestyle and by helping them set and achieve goals. We achieve all that by teaching them Martial Arts.
The Aurora King Baseball Association (AKBA) was formed as an amalgamation of the Aurora Minor Baseball Association (AMBA) and the King Township Baseball Association (KTBA) just prior to the 2015 season. The goal of the merger was to enhance the baseball programs available to the residence of both municipalities by increasing registration and access to facilities while reducing costs and overhead.
The individual looking for social activities, those seeking physical activity and others in search of a competitive sport will all find facets of interest in Lawn Bowling. Hoping to see members of the Aurora community come out and watch the action - bring your lawn chair and sun screen and sit at the edge of the greens to watch the game close up!
Boxing as a sport requires a high level of athletic prowess: strength, speed, agility, hand-eye coordination, endurance, nerve, and power - just to name several required attributes.
Boxing as a fitness activity enables the average person to hone those same athletic skills, all without having to take a punch.
Here are a number of other reasons why:

Our club has three main areas: Masters Swimming, Triathlon and Special Olympics. The Masters Swimming Program include Advanced Skills Development, Fitness, and Competitive. The Triathlon Program is for adults and offers both swim training and additional indoor cycling training. The Special Olympic Program is called Special Ducks and caters special needs athletes. These programs are designed to develop interest and participation in swimming. Swimmers are provided with a program to match their abilities and ambitions. They move up at their own rate.

Welcome to the Aurora Masters Lacrosse League (AMLL)
There is no doubt the popularity of lacrosse has surged for all age levels in recent years. As a result we have created a non-contact adult league for men and women (22 years or older) who would like to play one of Canada’s national sports. Although we accept individuals of all abilities, we have a large number of extremely talented players in this league. This will ensure a fast paced and competitive environment for all players.
If you have a child who wishes to play lacrosse, please contact the Newmarket Redbirds Lacrosse. They provided a fantastic minor lacrosse program under the Ontario Lacrosse Association.
Aurora Men's Slo Pitch League consists of two Divisions: Open 18+ years of Age Masters 40+ years of age (each team is allowed up to 5 players 35-39 years of age) Masters games are typically double headers played on Mon and/or Thursday with 7:30/8pm start times Open game nights are Mon, Tues, Wed and Thursday with start times varying between 730 and 845pm
Each year, teams are usually in need of new players. New players interested in joining the league in either division should submit their names to email@example.com (league president) identifying which division they are interested in. The names will be circulated to the Team Managers who are in need of adding players to their roster. Past history has shown that new prospective players that attend the General Meeting have a higher likelihood of being picked up by one of the teams in need.
The Aurora Seniors Association is a group of energetic older adults who are very enthusiastic about the programs and activities at the Aurora Seniors Centre. Operated in partnership with the Town of Aurora Parks and Recreation Department, the Centre’s success is based on the Seniors who volunteer their time and Town of Aurora staff. We provide programs, events and activities to benefit and enrich the lives of older adults.
The Aurora Skating Club is fully sanctioned by Skate Canada and operates s a not-for-profit, volunteer-based, community organization. We have been teaching skating in Aurora since 1953 and have earned a trusted reputation for teaching excellence!

Our mandate is to encourage, promote and support the instruction, practice, enjoyment and advancement of its' members in all aspects of skating. We offer programs for boys & girls starting at the age of 3 years: Learn to Skate; CanSkate & CanSkate Plus, and STARSkate: Figure Skating. Today Coerver Coaching stands at the forefront of youth soccer coaching and with its programs, schools, events and products available in Europe, North America, Africa, Asia and Australia; Coerver is also the largest soccer educational program in the world. It is designed to develop and improve individual player skills through 1v1, small group play and through constant repetitions of exercises on and off the training field - which over time leads to consistent individual play, strong technical skills, composure, vision, creativeness and confidence.
Coerver Coaching is based on the fundamental belief that any system or team is only as good as the individuals that form it. The essence of the Coerver method is ball mastery. All other aspects of the game from receiving and passing to group play flow from that basic building block.
While the Coerver Coaching program is relevant to elite players, it is equally appropriate with modifications, to all young players.
Coerver Coaching has been endorsed and recommended by FIFA and UEFA along with several professional clubs, coaches, players and National federations.
CrossFit is about doing a work out that equips you for real life. Its programming uses constantly varied, functional movements performed at a high intensity. CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and fire halls, as well as sports teams, professional athletes and the military. Because it mimics the movements we live out every day, it is also being implemented in nursing homes, pre-schools and rehab centres.

DUCKS SWIMMING CLUB INC. is interested in the development of coaching skills at all levels and all sports. Lead by Reg Chappell, BA, CFP, ChPC, inducted into the Ontario Aquatic Hall of Fame (September 2919), Coach of the Year 2012 and member of the Original National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP design committee. Reg has been coaching for 56 years.

Welcome to the IEM Basketball website, York Region's largest basketball organization for girls and boys with over 1650+ players and over 175+ coaches. IEM Basketball is one of the fastest growing Ontario basketball leagues with REP1, REP2 and ALL-STAR programs consisting of over 150+ teams in Newmarket, Aurora, Keswick, East Gwillimbury and Bradford. Skaters First is a skating school committed to teaching children and young adults the fundamentals of skating. Established in 1993, Skaters First has been providing excellent skating programs in the Town of Aurora for 24 years. Our coaching staff and program assistants have a passion for skating and teaching. We strive to create a positive and fun learning environment where skaters of all levels and abilities not only learn to skate but find confidence in themselves.

The primary objective of Special Olympics Ontario is to contribute to the physical, social and psychological development of people with intellectual disabilities through positive, successful experiences in sport. The focus of the Special Olympics movement is to promote sport programming for such individuals in their community.

The goals of the YNBA are to encourage children to develop a love of sport as a lifelong activity as well as promote and develop basketball skills and to provide a training path for those who might choose high performance competition. To accomplish these goals it is essential that we recognize and nourish "the distinct stages of physical, mental, cognitive and emotional development in child athletes." (Canadian Sport for Life - A Sport Parents Guide, 7).
The YOHL was established since 1975 the league and currently has 32 teams in 4 age divisions. Opperating out of arenas in Newmarket, Aurora and Richmond Hill, the YOHL has many well established teams but newcomers are always welcome.
There are no playoffs or champions crowned, just lots of hockey. The YOHL covets a competitive game based on sportsmanship, fair play and respect for our teammates, opponents, referees and league. officials.
Our goal is to organize, develop and promote minor football for all youth (ages 5 to 19) of York Region. Leagues are divided into 4 groups: Development, Flag, Spring/Summer Rep and Fall Rep.
